What I did
Same colour palette, typography, and component patterns across both surfaces.
Why
Members and prospects should feel one brand - not a gym tool bolted onto a random landing page.
Member and admin journeys alongside a coach’s public-facing website.
The gym needed an internal management experience, while the coach needed a website to explain programs and help prospective clients take the next step. Both belonged to one ecosystem, but served different users.
I created the basic gym-app design in Figma and used Cursor to extend the interface and visual design from that reference. I built the coach website directly with AI assistance.
Two related briefs: a gym app informed by competitor analysis, and a coach website built from scratch with AI.
I reviewed competing gym products and created the basic gym-app design in Figma. I then used that design as a reference in Cursor, prompting AI to expand the interface and enhance the visuals. The coach website followed a separate route: I built it from scratch with AI assistance.
Design decisions
Same colour palette, typography, and component patterns across both surfaces.
Members and prospects should feel one brand - not a gym tool bolted onto a random landing page.
Today's classes, check-ins, and alerts as the home screen - not a feed or analytics wall.
Staff open the app to act, not read reports. The dashboard answers "what's happening right now?"
One long-scroll page: hero → programs → testimonials → pricing → book - tied to the Fitcamp booking flow.
Coach sites are shared on Instagram and WhatsApp. One URL, complete story, one CTA.
Where it landed
Created the basic Figma design and expanded the gym interface using Cursor. Built the coach website from scratch with AI assistance. Development of the wider gym experience is ongoing.
Reflection
Deeper integration with the Harry's Fitcamp booking app - website CTA should flow into the same booking system, not a separate form.
Member-facing flows in the gym app (self check-in, class booking) need more design depth in v2.
Payment integration between gym operations and coach bookings was discussed but not fully designed.
